Christmas Jammies

I just love footed jammies...they look so comfy & cute!! This is one of Ceili's million pairs of Christmas jammies this year. I think they are adorable...so much so that Jamie & I bought Ceili, Keira & Carter each a pair for next year!! What cute photos that will make!! Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!!

We definitely had a wonderful Christmas...very hectic, but wonderful at the same time! We celebrated with the Ison's on the 22nd, then the Mennel's on the 23rd. We continued to celebrate as Justin and I had my family over for Christmas Eve dinner following mass on Sunday. Christmas morning we celebrated on our own with Ceili, then began our day celebrating with all of her grandparents. We went to my parent's house for Mom's delicious brunch and opened gifts (Ceili loved helping Papaw pass the gifts out). We had Wendy & Jeff, along with Gra, up to our house in the afternoon - it was nice seeing them since it's been so long. Then Charlie & Lisa came by in the evening to see us - they brought their dog Libby to play with Hannah & Izzie as well!
Ceili had a great Christmas - she received tons of great gifts from everyone and actually didn't get two of anything, which was surprising!! It was so much fun watching her open her presents and see just how excited she got about each and every one of them. She is turning into such a little girl...no more baby, that's for sure!! She just cracks us up every moment of every day...there is never a dull moment in the von Buchler household!!

Well, we hope everyone had as wonderful of a Christmas as we did - there are a ton of pictures on here, so grab a drink, sit back, relax and enjoy the photos!!

Being part of a large family has always been so much fun for us "kids" growing up. We always tell people how big our family is, but I don't think they quite get it until they see pictures like the one below. This is a picture of my grandparents (in the middle covered in little ones!) with most of their grandchildren (my cousins) and great-grandchildren (my cousins' children). In this picture, I believe we are missing 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren (with 3 more due within the next few months). I doubt we will ever be able to get EVERYONE together, but that sure would be a neat picture to have!! Hopefully I haven't left anyone out, but with my dad being one of 12 children, I'm bound to leave someone out in the count!

Baking Day 2006

In the past, my sisters and I have gone over to Mom and Dad's to do our Christmas baking, but the past couple of years it has not worked out. This year, I decided to ask if we could do it again...so Jamie, Ashley, Ceili and I all went over and got most of our baking done with Mom. We were sad that Shawna couldn't be with us, but next year we will make sure she is in town!! It was a lot fun and hectic at the same time. Here are the few pictures we took - for some reason, I didn't get the camera out until the end...silly me!! I don't know how Mom dodged the camera, but she really was there - I promise!! We hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!!
The guys occupied Ceili for us since she wasn't feeling very well - poor baby! Papaw, Uncle Matt and Daddy played with her and read her lots of her favorite books!!

Christmas with the Anderson's

Ceili got this sweater from Adam & Sarah for Christmas - I love how it looks on her...her eyes are amazing with this blue!! We have not done much the past few days because of my surgery & Ceili being sick, so I thought I would post some of these pictures I took the other day.
Ceili loves her new puppy...she wants to hug and kiss her all the time!! It is so cute to watch them - poor Izzie never gets a break though!!
Here are some pictures from when we celebrated Christmas with the Anderson's. It is so much fun watching the kids get so excited over their gifts - it's also fun to watch the three of them grow up together. They have so much fun with one another!!

Ceili was so cute when Nathan was drinking his bottle - she's such a little Mommy!! She loves her babydolls for sure, and she thought she had to to comfort Nathan and help him as he drank his bottle...so sweet!!

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree...

Well...we went to the tree farm a couple of weeks ago and cut down our Christmas trees - one for the front room (Ceili's tree) and one for the back room. This was the first year we have actually CUT our own trees. They took us on a tractor ride out to the trees and we spent a lot of time finding the PERFECT ones!! I am hoping we can continue to do this in the years to come as well. Ceili has not really tried bothering the trees, which was surprising to me. She just looks at the ornaments and lights and says "Awe!!" - so cute!!

Ceili also fell in love with the doggie that rode on the tractor with us out to the trees...she had to give him "lovin's" on our way to the car...isn't she so sweet?!

What a Little Cutie...

This little guy is the son of one of my co-workers - they invited us out to their house to take pictures. It was not hard to take good pictures of Marcus because, as you can see, he is absolutely adorable! I think he might just be the cutest little boy I've ever seen!! We had a lot of fun taking his pictures this past weekend and are excited to go back in the spring to take their family photos!

Better Late than Never...

I have been sooooo busy lately that I haven't really had the time to go through our Thanksgiving pictures...and of course, I wanted to make sure I went through and got a variety before posting any. Here are some pictures we took at Thanksgiving...I think they turned out really nice! We don't have enough pictures of the three cousins together, so I thought I would try to get some...Ty was in a goofy mood though, so I took whatever I could get! It was really nice getting together with everyone...it doesn't happen often enough! Next, we'll post some Christmas pictures...had to at least post the Thanksgiving before the Christmas pictures!! Sorry it's been so long...hopefully we have not lost our audience!

Introducing...

Well...Justin has been asking for a new dog for a while now and I finally broke down when I saw our new little girl! She is just the cutest thing and soooo sweet too!! (and it also helps that Justin got a huge discount by working at Uncle Bill's!!) We brought Izzie home on Saturday night for a "trial" and after about an hour knew we weren't taking her back. Within two minutes, Ceili was bending down, patting her leg saying "Izzie, Izzie!!" It was so cute!! Izzie is a soft-coated Wheaton Terrier and is 4 months old. She looks like a big teddy bear...and with all that hair, can you believe she doesn't shed?! Nope...not one bit, which is a HUGE plus with me because I HATE dog hair!! Hannah is doing well with her - she had to show her who's boss...however, I think Izzie has really shown Hannah who the boss is!! Ceili is loving her - she does get a little scared when Hannah and Izzie play though. We can't wait for everyone to meet the new addition to our family - I know everyone will fall in love with her at first sight! Below are a few pictures of Izzie...and one of Ceili after she was worn out from chasing Izzie around the house!
