but to drive over an hour to cut our Christmas tree down?! So maybe it was rainy and spitting snow this day, but we made the best of it and had a great time picking out the PERFECT tree this year! Ceili had a blast helping Daddy cut it down too! Although it would have made sense for us to each have a nice warm cup of hot cocoa, Ceili decided we needed to go into their Homemade Ice Cream shop and eat ice cream instead! What a funny girl! We have made this a tradition every year since Ceili was born (she was 6 months at her first Christmas!) and hope to continue it each and every year!

What a great family tradition! Looks like the kids enjoyed cutting down their tree. I love the picture of Ceili walking down the middle of the trees, she looks so big.
Oh how fun! I think that it is really neat that you have done this over the past couple of years....they will always remember it!
oh too cute! looks like they had a great time.. and yeah, she gets the desire for ice cream especially when its cold out from her Auntie A i would have to say. what a wonderful tradition!!
